1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using HearAI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

HearAI is an iOS application designed for deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals that provides:

• Real-time speech-to-text transcription
• Environmental sound detection and alerts (300+ categories)
• Custom vibration, flash, and flashlight notifications
• Lock screen Live Activity for background monitoring

3. Subscriptions and Billing

HearAI offers auto-renewable subscriptions:

• Weekly — $3.99 per week
• Monthly — $9.99 per month
• Yearly — $69.99 per year

All subscriptions include a 3-day free trial. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.

You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

4. Free Trial

New subscribers may receive a 3-day free trial. The free trial is available to new subscribers only and will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial period ends.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use HearAI only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the App to record or monitor individuals without their consent
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Share, resell, or sublicense your subscription to others

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

HearAI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that sound detection and transcription will be 100% accurate. The App is intended as an assistive tool and should not be relied upon as the sole means of safety monitoring.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HearAI and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to missed sound alerts or inaccurate transcriptions.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. All audio processing occurs on your device. We do not store or transmit your audio recordings. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
